One is a necessity that involves a team of pet moving experts, the other is for pleasure, put together by someone who enjoys traveling with her dogs. Each story is as unique as the dogs themselves. AN AIRPORT SHARES TWO TERMINALS. There is the sad terminal, where people are separated from their loved ones. The happy terminal is where people are reunited with their loved ones. The air cargo terminal at Lufthansa was bustling with the comings and goings of people picking up and dropping off packages. There were lots of smiles. And then, coming up the sidewalk was a young man, working hard to keep it together for his unsuspecting sidekick named Captain Sully, a Great Dane. Inside the terminal was a team of caring people ready to make Sully’s well-planned trip across the ocean as comfortable as possible. Air Animal has been helping pet owners move cross country or around the globe since 1977. Based out of Tampa,Air Animal has pet move managers all over the world, which is just one of the many reasons they are able to provide door to door service.Think of the kiddie flights children take. There is always someone scheduled to greet them to make sure they’re safe and correctly connected on the next leg of their flight. Indeed, several staff mem- bers were at the Lufthansa terminal on this day to meet Kevin and Sully. One of the team members had expertly built a custom-made crate for Sully’s journey to London. The trip to London was as a result of a promo- tion and an exciting opportunity for Kevin, his wife Katelynn and Sully. Katelynn was already settled in London and her new job with a bank. Having been apart for three months, the family of three was looking forward to their reunion. Understandably, Kevin and Katelynn were anxious about Sully’s trip. Kevin had a bag full of Sully’s toys. Before asking Sully to go into the crate, he crouched down next to his dog and removed the shirt he was wearing. He let Sully smell it, then balled it up gently and placed it inside the crate. Sully timidly walked into the crate and turned around to look at Kevin, who said.“I’ll see you soon, buddy. I promise.” In nine hours Sully was in Frankfurt, where he was met by Air Animal pet mover Deandra. She stayed with Sully while he stretched his legs at the Frankfurt Animal Lounge. During the four hour layover, Deandra made sure Sully had plenty of water. His crate was cleaned and once his documentation was pre- cleared for the UK, Deandra made sure Sully was safely loaded onto the plane for the final leg of his trip. In less than two hours, he would be in London. Shortly thereafter, Sully was delivered to his anxiously-awaiting mom at the front door of the family’s new home. Two days later, Kevin arrived and the family went to a local pet store to purchase a new bed for Sully.
