I have never had a dog with three legs, so I was a bit nerv-ous about what to expect. I was prepared to do anything to helphim get around. Frankly, I was overreacting. As it turned out, hereally didnt need my help. The same night I picked him up, hewas walking around without any real issues. Of course I helpedhim with some things and still do, like getting on the couch ormy bed. He conquered the deck stairs in no time flat.Manny runs around the yard just like the rest of our dogs.He does get pooped out faster than they do, and sometimes Ihave to go pick him up to bring him inside. Any time we gosome where with a lot of walking, we bring his wagon and hegets to ride. I work for a non profit animal rescue and he goesto some of our events to promote positively for Pit Bulls as wellas dogs with disabilities. We also tell people about the danger ofbackyard breeding, which seems to be a big thing in our area.We just celebrated Mannys first birthday on December 1.Hecontinues to inspire me and others with this happy outlook onlife and overall perseverance. He doesnt know he is different. You definitely cant keep a good dog down.~Sarah Podobinski #TheNewBarkerPitBullHero.UY BullMastiffRescue.comNewHorizonDogRescue.orgWould you like to share your dogs story?
