b'invernessThe Inverness Business League sponsored the 7th annualK9 Karnival on November 14.A portion of the proceeds weredonated to Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection(CCFAP) to benefit the animals of Citrus County AnimalShelter.The public was invited to bring their dogs for a dayof fun, including contests, vendors, lure coursing, and pictureswith Santa.The Citrus County Animal Shelter brought someof their adoptable dogs, giving them the opportunity to spend Carry and Karen Guppy and Brigettea day outside with the volunteers and meeting the public.CCFAP is the driving force behind the shelter events and Citrus County Foundation forimprovements made at the shelter. The 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Animal Protection (CCFAP):organization was formed to ensure the well-being of compan- ccfap.netion animals, primarily within the shelter environment.
