TheFloridaGulfCoastClustersDogShow isoneoftheSoutheasts largest dog events. Held at Florida Classic Park inBrooksville during the first twoweeks in January, the all-breed dog show is the road to the Westminster Kennel ClubDogShowformanyoftheworldwidecompetitorswhoattend. More than 18,000 dogs took part in the 10-day show.The orgnizers encourage the public to bring their chairs orblankets and enjoy the outdoor spectator sport, which is free(parking is $5). This is a unique opportunity to speak withgroomers, handlers and even the judges when theyre not inthe ring. Dog-related vendors set up for the two weeks. Thereis even a section named Rescue Row for rescue groups toattend with their adoptables.
